The Action aims to address challenges in communication and awareness regarding EU integration, particularly in the underrepresented. It recognizes the existing disparities in information, sentiments, and participation, especially among youth, and aims to rectify these issues through targeted communication campaigns and support for local CSOs.
The strategy involves simplifying EU-related information, adapting communication to be more audience-centric, and leveraging local CSOs to bridge the information gap. By supporting sub-granting initiatives, the Action seeks to empower local organizations in Western Serbia and Šumadija to actively engage with the public, dispel myths, and promote the benefits of EU accession.
The Action aligns with the priorities outlined in the Call, focusing on enhancing
CSOs' advocacy role in communication, promoting EU values, and supporting youth
participation. It aims to contribute to regional development by complementing
existing EU initiatives, national projects, and efforts by utilizing its
network, expertise, and coordination with relevant stakeholders. In summary,
the Action aims to foster positive attitudes toward EU integration,
particularly in underdeveloped regions, by strategically addressing
communication challenges, supporting local CSOs, and aligning with existing
regional development initiatives.
