The Project supports task mapping for job positions in the Council’s Office

As part of the activities implying the strengthening of capacities of the Council’s Office and issuing recommendations for more efficient organization and utilization of the existing resources, the Project has provided support to the Office in the process of detailed recording of the existing job positions and their descriptions.

All the staff members described the tasks of their job positions in an electronic document created by the Project, regardless of whether they are described identically in the official job systemization or not. The job descriptions were further analyzed with supervisors of the Office’s internal organizational units, in order to define the ways of improving the processes and delegation of tasks and responsibilities within the Office. This encompassed identification of potential deviations from the job systemization, overlapping of tasks among certain jobs, as well as workload in certain positions.

On this occasion, vacancies were mapped too, in order to point to the Office as understaffed given its responsibilities, and prepare arguments for presenting the need to recruit more staff, once the conditions are met.
