The project Pulse of Europe - Media Trips to EU has announced an invitation for journalists to participate in media trips. The call for proposals will be open throughout the project; the list of countries updated every three months. For the period April-July 2020, media trips to Germany, Croatia and Slovenia, and France are planned.
The Call is open to all media in Serbia - national, regional and local, electronic, print and internet - provided that the Code of Ethics (Code of Journalists of Serbia) and professional and ethical standards are respected. Journalists interested in participation should submit a proposal for a topic to be covered in an individual EU country and its short synopsis, as well as to obtain permission from the editorial board or competent editor to travel. The project will provide all the costs of travel, stay as well as the costs of non-financial work abroad. The text of the Call and the application form are available on the following link .
The Pulse of Europe project started in February 2020 and will last until August 2022. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe Institute in cooperation with the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia and the Center for Cultural Decontamination.
At least 20 media visits from Serbia to European countries will be organized during the project. Media visits last for four days during which journalists realize their reports / articles. Media travel participants will receive full organizational and logistical support of the project during media visits. In addition to these activities, it is planned to organize several visits of journalists from European countries to Serbia, as well as several debates on European topics throughout Serbia.
