To mark the EU Green Week, the Pulse of Europe – Media Trips to EU project and the EU Delegation to Serbia organise an event entitled "How green is Europe - presentation of best environmental protection practices in the EU" in Belgrade on Thursday, 6 June 2024.
Presentation of best EU practices in the sector of environmental protection will be held threefold:
- During the projection of the film (duration of 25 minutes) "Green Europe" in the RTS production which is a compilation of media reports from six EU countries produced with the Pulse of Europe project’s support. All media features focus on the environmental protection (different aspects);
- At a panel discussion gathering the author of the film, RTS journalist/editor Dragana EU Delegation Programme Manager Antoine Avignon, Belgrade Open School project manager Lazar Jovčić and Ekolist magazine journalist/editor Majda Adlešič, who will altogether share with the public what the EU has done for its member states in the environmental protection as well as where Serbia stands today in its efforts to attain European standards, with the EU financial support and
’- Through a photo exhibition displaying the most important data on the environmental standards and policies in several EU countries (Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Portugal and Sweden).
The event will be the occasion for Serbian journalists that have participated in media trips organised by the Pulse of Europe project to share their experiences with the audience.
